Tijdens Storytelling night komen studenten en mensen van alle achtergronden op een authentieke manier met elkaar in contact door het vertellen van verhalen. Het thema van de avond is ‘verbondenheid'.   

De avond wordt georganiseerd door Porchlight: een samenwerking tussen StuRa ITM (de Studentenraad Tourism Management) en Christine Fenech (Chief Storyteller). Het initiatief is ontstaan aan de NHL Stenden Hogeschool om een plek te creëren waar mensen persoonlijke verhalen kunnen delen rond universele thema’s en om een inclusieve ruimte bieden waar studenten en mensen van alle achtergronden op een authentieke manier met elkaar in contact kunnen komen.

During Storytelling Night, students and people from all backgrounds connect authentically through storytelling. The theme of the evening is "belonging."   

The evening is organized by Porchlight. Porchlight is a collaboration between StuRa ITM (the Tourism Management Student Council) and Christine Fenech (Chief Storyteller). It was born at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences to create a space where people can share personal stories around universal themes. Porchlight aims to create an inclusive space where students and people from all backgrounds can connect authentically. It is a place where personal stories are held and celebrated, helping us see what we share in common rather than what sets us apart.
